Creativity Explosion

I had this idea several years ago to produce a CD with relaxing music while healing scriptures being read.  A member of our church who is our prayer coordinator decided that she would get it together, search out healing scriptures and find some background music.  She did an excellent job as it was recorded at the church and we gave these away free to those who asked and to those on the prayer list.  It was a great idea put to work.  What better way to allow God to heal as one listens to the word of God with relaxing music.

The other day, I met a friend for lunch in which I haven’t seen her in a few years.  Can you guess what she handed me?  A CD with Healing Scriptures that she had produced in a studio!  Just awesome!  As soon as I got in the car I started listening to them, enjoying the Scriptures as they touched my soul.  In fact, if anyone would like one you can comment below or shoot me an email and I can get one for you.  I think she sells them for $15 and they may also be in the local bookstores.

Another idea that I am currently working on is to create a God encounter, practicing being in the presence of God CD.  Whew!  Relax or meditation CD is again not my expertise but who said I am not wonder woman?  I can produce anything if God gives us an idea, right?  I contacted a friend Don Hershman the other day who has a studio and produces music.  I sent him a sample of Jordan’s soaking music then he produced a sound clip for me to use.  Awesome!  I want to record in the background prayers being prayed over the listener and also reading of the word, subliminal speaking.  I have really felt in my spirit to this while speaking how to practice getting in the presence of God and allowing Him to move through your body and cleanse your spirit in the process.  A much-needed twenty minutes of relaxing and allowing God’s spirit to refresh you!  I am all up for that and I know this fast paced world we need those quiet times.  This instructional audio will allow you to relax, meditate, refresh your mind with Godly thinking, being filled with His Spirit, impartation of healing and prayer blessings  are all wrapped into one CD.  I hope all my readers will purchase one!

God is so good and He gives us good ideas!  Several years ago, I wanted to learn sign language and be able to express worship with dance and signing.  So what did I do?  I started teaching sign language with music.  I had over twenty students for twelve weeks.  We bought outfits and performed around the county and in the church.  This went on for two years until I got busy with other ideas, however there are several of us who now know how to somewhat communicate with the deaf.  When you have an idea what do you do with it?  Do you think it is silly or no one will want to do it?  Do you fear what others will say or have a feeling of failure, or do you feel overwhelmed and dismiss it?  God wants you to use your talents! It doesn’t matter if people discourage you or think it won’t work.  Just do it and you will feel accomplished in what you set out to do.  If it is a God thing, it will work even if it is meant only for you. I will be happy to discuss any of your ideas and encourage you through the process!   With God all things are possible and He is the author of creativity.  He has given us that ability to create and I am thankful I can be brave enough just to try it.

So in the future, you will see my books, my CDs, my clothing line, my photographic art, my paintings, and all those dreams floating around in my head come to pass.  You can do it too!

Prayer:  You are so awesome God in your creativity!  You have given us a part of you and I pray we can use it wisely.  Teach us Lord to use our talents and be brave enough to stand and agree with your gifts in which you hand out to each one of us.  Thank You Jesus!  Amen

“His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’

The Parable of the Talents:

Matthew 25

14“Again, it will be like a man going on a journey, who called his servants and entrusted his property to them. 15To one he gave five talentsa of money, to another two talents, and to another one talent, each according to his ability. Then he went on his journey. 16The man who had received the five talents went at once and put his money to work and gained five more. 17So also, the one with the two talents gained two more. 18But the man who had received the one talent went off, dug a hole in the ground and hid his master’s money.

19“After a long time the master of those servants returned and settled accounts with them. 20The man who had received the five talents brought the other five. ‘Master,’ he said, ‘you entrusted me with five talents. See, I have gained five more.’

21“His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’

22“The man with the two talents also came. ‘Master,’ he said, ‘you entrusted me with two talents; see, I have gained two more.’

23“His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’

24“Then the man who had received the one talent came. ‘Master,’ he said, ‘I knew that you are a hard man, harvesting where you have not sown and gathering where you have not scattered seed. 25So I was afraid and went out and hid your talent in the ground. See, here is what belongs to you.’

26“His master replied, ‘You wicked, lazy servant! So you knew that I harvest where I have not sown and gather where I have not scattered seed? 27Well then, you should have put my money on deposit with the bankers, so that when I returned I would have received it back with interest.

28“‘Take the talent from him and give it to the one who has the ten talents. 29For everyone who has will be given more, and he will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken from him. 30And throw that worthless servant outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’
