Direction of Journey

Do you ever see people going the wrong way and they are just clueless in what they are doing, or are they just making the choice.  They see the signs or do they?  Many times in life, this journey is much like a road in which we will find our destination.  Along the way, there are detours, signs, roadblocks and storms however there are also beautiful landscapes, rest areas and food.  Seasons, journey or a race, we all have to go through life with its ups and downs.  We get thrown some curve balls or get slammed by the enemy, wounded and hurt yet we know in who and what the answer is.  It is Jesus.  It is allowing Him to take the wheel, not be the co-pilot but the pilot.  Jesus is seen as looking over us or walking with us, a part of our soul.  I know He is always with us no matter where our road of life takes us.  He is with us through every decision, every step and every direction we may choose to go.  However when we allow Him to complete our journey then we will not be going the wrong way but His way even if it goes against all odds or what others are doing.

I heard a saying the other day, “The object of war is victory, but the object of victory is occupation.”  I don’t want to walk in this life just having victory every once in a while, but I want Jesus to occupy my life!

Prayer:  Lord, I praise you for leading and guiding me in the directions of life.  Help me to help others and show them the way.  In Jesus name.  Amen.

John 8:12 International Standard Version (©2008)
Later on Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. The one who follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”
