Clash of the Titans

The family and I went to see the movie Clash of the Titans last weekend.  I found it to be very interesting and it was a good movie worth seeing.  Full of energy, a great plot and lots of action, this movie can relate to real life when it comes to the spiritual.  It reminded me of how God is always watching us and wanting the best for us because we are His children.  He often sends things to help us with our journey, tools we need to fight.  We have Jesus on the inside of us which makes us demi-gods so to speak because the Holy Spirit which lives within us gives us the power to fight battles of life.  Just as Perseus, we as human nature think and believe we can make it on our own and refuse to believe we are part of the Creator.  We refuse our identity by choosing our own will and lifestyle.  We do our own thing and rely on our own strength which in return just gets us in trouble and hurt.  Just as Hades or our enemy wants to grow stronger to keep us enslaved of this world, we all have the potential to put him in the right place which is under our feet but he continues to lie and trick his way to be a part of our daily lives.  The final quest is once we realize who we are, the power we possess, we can be a warrior who ultimately wins this war of life.  We are the children of the almighty God, thus we work here on earth, live as His children with overcoming victory!

If you don’t understand my blog this morning, go see the movie and look at the underlying spiritual plot.  I walked out smiling, knowing who I am.

Prayer:  Lord, I thank you for all you do and showing me who I am in You!  I thank you for the power of the Holy Spirit and the right to be victorious in this life.
