Sometimes people get upset when God doesn’t move like you want Him to or if He doesn’t answer prayers the way you want. Sometimes we look for answers at a blank wall or maybe feel like the ceiling is caving in on us. We must take a step back and ask what God is trying to teach us. Could it be patience, love or long-suffering? Could it mean we must trust in Him and lean on Him more instead of man? God is the God of all comfort and He gives us time to process through it all. He is a God that guides us as a shepherd would his sheep, tenderly with a smile. If you are in a time of discipline or facing the cruel consequences of sin, please don’t give up. Morning will come, and on that dawn will come God’s grace.
Prayer: Lord, through the times of waiting, help me to understand the process. I know you mature me through it all even when I have to wait and depend upon you. Thank you for making me wait and help me to learn to mature in your grace, see through your eyes and know your plans. In Jesus Name. Amen.
Psalm 30:5 For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime; weeping may remain for a night, but rejoicing comes in the morning.
